retreat in a meditative spirit With
Marìa Deza
This retreat will be based on the basic Hatha Yoga practice, sustained
by the practice of bare attention, that comes from Vipassana
meditation.
It will be in a friendly environment 50 Km South from Rome, 5 minutes
by car from Lavinio village and the beach. From Lavinio beach it will
be possible to reach the lovely sea villages of Anzio and Nettuno, the
natural park of Tor Caldara and beautiful beaches in very short time.
The program consists in several hours of Yoga a day and Vipassana
practice, including theoretical explanations, chanting and time for
personal questions.
The format will be an all inclusive retreat; accommodation can be in
rooms with hot water or in tens in the garden if preferred.
Food will be of course vegetarian and simple to help us in our
practice. Courses will be taught in English and Italian.

Biography
Marìa Deza (born 1962 in Argentina) studied dance techniques.
Since 1994 she has made regular journeys to Asia and was introduced
to Vipassana meditation and Yoga by Asokananda in Thailand. Since
then she has being doing regular Vipassana retreats with him
and has been practicing for more than ten years both disciplines,
inspired also by others teachers and by her own practice.
She is now based in Xalapa, Mexico, developing a Yoga Centre and
teaching Yoga.
