VILLAGE CONDITIONS

We strongly recommend a sleeping bag and you need some warm clothing for the evenings/nights. Night temperatures in winter (November to March) can drop to 3 or 4° C, while the days are generally quite pleasant with temperatures around 25° C. Temperatures from March to June are high during the days with up to 40° C, night temperatures can drop to around 15° C. A torch is also useful.
We provide basic meals (three vegetarian rice meals a day). If you do have any specific food cravings, you should bring those items with you. Our diet is normally suitable for vegans, although we do occasionally serve meals that contain egg, which you can easily avoid. The diet does normally not contain any wheat products either.
We are in a hilltribe village and the living conditions in the village are extremely basic. If you figure that you need any modern comfort, a tribal village is not the right place for you. Please carefully consider that before finally signing up for the course. We can’t refund any course fees after you have finally signed up. If you do change your mind about attending the course, please let us know as we need to organize a sufficient number of teachers, transport and food supplies.

For the fees of the classes outside of Thailand please contact the organizers directly.
